I am facing a dilemma in selecting a right business school as I weigh my MBA options.
Katz offered me 66k scholarship for MBA in Business Analytics and Wisconsin offered me 50k scholarship for MBA in Supply Chain Management.
Kindly help me in selecting the right school?
Hey! Congratulations!
I think the options are fairly close. I would assume neither school is going to bring in a train of recruiters on campus so you will mostly be recruiting through networking. I would say if you have any kind of a personal network in Pittsburgh or in Wisconsin, you should choose the location closest to a network of support.
Also the specializations of the two programs sound quite a bit different so depending on what you’re looking to focus on, you may want to pursue a certain degree rather than the other.
While Maddison has a stronger undergrad name, the strength of undergraduate university does not necessarily translate into stronger business school but Madison is definitely a stronger and the bigger program which has its advantages. Honestly, I am torn. I don’t think anyone can vote you for picking either program but you need to have your reasons so you don’t have to deal with regret and doubts.
Meanwhile, congratulations on your dilemma!
