Hi
You already have the answer with you: based on what you are going to do, you know if you need to retake or not. The rest is just advice that could be useful or not. It all depends on you.
As for your scores, the last one is pretty solid, but your gain depends on whether you go for a part-time or full MBA and which school you submit to.
Additional questions:
2) Is there any value in submitting multiple scores (specifically, the 160 V, 158 Q and the 157 V, 162 Q scores) so admissions can see I scored high on verbal on a previous test?
NO. you can submit only one score when you submit your application
3) Does admissions care about the writing score? I haven't received my writing score yet but I worry I bombed it and got a 2 or 3 (with the 157 V, 162 Q). Would that be a reason not to use this score?
Certain schools care, and others do not. See the class profile and see if the school lists the AWA or not. However, in an era where chatGPT messed up the writing and considering also that the GMAT will reintroduce the AWA even though in a separate test, I would conclude that the AWA counts more than ever!!!
regards.
PS: the AWA is not that difficult after all see this link
