Hi, Here is an excerpt from the Kellog website.
Upon application, students must indicate which classes they have completed and which are outstanding. If you are missing one course, you may complete it over the summer at Kellogg. If you are missing two or more courses, you must complete all but one of them prior to enrollment. If you apply in Round 2, please be aware that you might be notified of acceptance after the date you would need to enroll in a spring course.
I am an international student from India with Engineering background. It looks like there is a narrow window of opportunity for me to apply for this program. At least in India no university would provide course completion certificate for select courses as required by the program. Has anyone faced similar dilemma ? Is there any recourse?

The Kellogg 1Y is for people who have already studied the standard first-year MBA subjects like accounting and statistics. It's not ideal for someone who is doing a major career change, which we are assuming maybe you are. If you don't have the entire set of pre-requisites then it's going to be pretty difficult to make a case for why this is the right program for you. The standard Kellogg 2Y might be a better fit.
We wrote about the Kellogg 1Y on the EssaySnark blahg a few months back - apologies for linking to a post that's behind our paywall but in case anyone reading this is already a subscriber then they can check it out.
For anyone else looking for an accelerated MBA from an American school, Cornell has a one-year program that's similar to Kellogg's, and Columbia has the J-Term which is the same two-year curriculum sans the summer internship. We talked about some of these in this post and others on the blahg too.
