I'm sure this has been asked many times before, and this is my first post so please excuse any errors!
I've submitted by application for Kellogg and read that all applicants are required to select an interview location preference. I'm working in TX right now however selected ON-CAMPUS as my preference since I want to go up and tour the campus etc. Now I'm confused in that each applicant is required to be interviewed but some get waivers? Also I've read somewhere that Kellogg sends out interview invites and that what I signed up for is just a preference for if I get an interview, then it will be on campus. My preference is mid-February, but I'm not sure whether this interview is confirmed or am I waiting for an official invite for that mid-February date? I need to know so I can book my flight for that week.
Thank you and again sorry for the essay, I'm just super confused about this process so any help and clarification would be great!

According to the Kellogg website, if you requested an on campus interview then you should call them to schedule it. Here is what they have posted, hope it helps!
Candidates who indicated a preference for an on–campus interview should schedule their interview after submitting a completed application. The schedule will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage candidates to schedule as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of securing a desired date. All interviews must be scheduled and then completed by the listed deadlines. Interviews not scheduled and completed by the appropriate deadlines will be waived.
Please call the Office of Admissions to schedule your on-campus interview. On-campus interviews are conducted by a member of the admissions staff or student admissions interviewers. Interviews are conducted Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from September through April and on select Saturdays from late fall until early spring. On-campus interviews typically last 30-45 minutes.

Yup if you want an on campus interview, you need to call them to arrange. You only have to wait to hear from Kellogg if you selected the off-campus option.
