Hi,
ADITYAMUKHERJEE,
Thank you for your post!
First of all, I would like you to know that since you are from an overrepresented pool of candidates, it’s essential that you score around 730+ in your GMAT to increase your chances at Kellogg. Moreover, since you have already done your MBA prior, I would also like to understand why don’t you wanna pursue and executive MBA. Also, the adcom would be interested in knowing your aspiration for the program, how it is relevant at this stage, and what unique abilities you have which would help you stand out from the general queue.
About your profile, you do have a relevant amount of work experience; now, what I would like you to do is elaborate more about your roles & responsibilities, crucial projects assigned, examples of leadership, relevant skills developed, professional accolades, and the impact generated during your diverse tenure. Coming to your ECAs, I feel it’s a bit brief. You will need to elaborate more on the challenges you faced, the leadership role you played, and the impact created by you. Moreover, I want you to understand that defining an innovative & relevant post-MBA goal is one of the major aspects of an applicant’s profile. Hence you would require to define both your short-term and long-term goals by linking them to your past experiences.
Overall, you have a decent GPA and GMAT score, and since you have already done your MBA prior, you need to use it to your advantage. Hence, you must be extremely clear on how a second MBA can help you reach your goals and mention your motivation/driving force, your aspirations, and finally, why you think it’s a good choice for you to go for a second MBA now and you have relevant skills to be successful! For your reference, I would suggest you go through our article on
What are your chances to the top MBA programs if you are doing a second MBA?, this would most certainly help provide insights about how to approach a second MBA application. That’s all for now! If you'd like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further help you with your GMAT strategy, feel free to

Let's create a Roadmap for Sept 23 intake R1Cheers!
