Total time each of them got to inspect the cars = 24 mins.

Kelvin = 3 mins / car

Jhon = 4 mins / car

Cars inspected by kelvin = 24/3 = 8 cars

Cars inspected by jhons = 24 /4 = 6 cars

Ratio of the cars = 8 : 6 = 4:3.

D is the correct answer.

total time = 8:54 and 8:30 = 24 mins
so K will inspect ; 24/3 ; 8 cars and J = 24/4 = 6 cars
ratio 8/6 ; 4/3
