Managements Studies from University of Mumbai (A grade - 75%) - 2016
Cleared CFA L1 in June 2016
Interned for two months at a firm in Dubai October 2016 - December 2016
Cleared CFA L2 in June 2017
Waited for my results to come in August before looking for a job, hoping to improve job prospects
Got a job at Deloitte working in the Corporate Finance Advisory team (2018 to 2019)
Cleared CFA L3 in June 2018
Wanted to always get into private equity/investment management
Highly influenced by the idea of value investing preached by Ben Graham and Warren Buffett
Was continuously reading up on these ideas to gain more knowledge on investing and analysing businesses and trying to value them since it really piqued my interest
August 2019 - present
Conducting my own research and handling my investments and investing for a few friends on an ad-hoc basis
I am worried about my gap starting from 2017 to 2018 and how that may be perceived in my applications
I am appearing for my GMAT in the month of Feb
Target schools - LSE, Imperial

Well, you have a pretty decent profile as such - CFA and Work ex. are pretty strong factors to highlight.
Are you targeting only UK Schools?
Well, for Imperial you need a GPA of 8.0+, LSE and LBS should be doable though.
A gap year will not be major issue if you are articulate about how you portray it - You will need to justify it with reasons and create a story-line for your essay that highlights how you leveraged the gap year.
LBS and LSE are the only UK Schools that need a GMAT - A 690+ Score will be considered competitive.
