hi All,
How accurate are Knewton CAT scores as a predictor of the real GMAT ? Their scoring tends to be a little haywire !!! Is it just me or people agree ?
I took GMAT last year and scored in the high 600's did not apply last year so thought of retesting the GMAT in order to break into the 700 barrier. I had taken
MGMAT CAT's last year so this year I've been resetting them and taking them and scoring in 710-730 range. But I dont know how much to rely on those scores as I have already seen those CAT's last year. So I took Knewton CAT three days ago and was shocked to see a 640 score. What's more baffling is that I took GMAT Prep 2.0 (the new one) last week and scored a 710.
My GMAT is less than a month away and I dont want to test it if I'm not sure I'll break the 700 barrier as my previous score is decent enough. I'm from a non-traditional background with a solid work-ex and leadership and community track record, I was hoping a 700 would make me very competetive but I dont want to retest and score less than my previous attempt and endanger my chances
Please provide your input !!!
Thanks
