I wanted to get some perspective on the knewton diagnostic test. I did a practice test and scored a dismal 540. Do you think this is one way to get people to sign up for the test? I knew I made some silly mistakes on the test and could have gotten most of the quant questions right but I am surprise that I got such a low score.

I took the Knewton test on Sunday and got 660 (45/42 or smth like that). My impression: Quant part a way above the real test's level. There were several questions that you'll probably never ever encounter on the real test (such as a twisted combined probability) Verbal part seemed to be in line with the real test questions and even seemed somewhat easy (or I improved meanwhile )
