Are you taking the 10-minute breaks? Try to simulate the test experience as much as you can.

I would also try to gradually work up to the full test time. When's your test? Maybe add 10-15 minutes to your prep time each time you study.

Also, eat brain-boosting foods...apple, banana, tuna fish, eggs, peanut butter & jelly, nuts. Protein mixed with fat is best for energizing your brain. Go easy on carbs, esp simple sugars...those can spike your blood sugar and make you sleepy when you crash.

good suggestion.. i also have trouble with focusing with a few hours straight!

I sometimes have trouble focusing for 5 minutes!! I blame the advent of Windows 95. Once I could multi-task, that's all I could do. While one browser tab loads, I surf another. It's pathetic! I now have the attention span of one of the gnats that's always buzzing around my monitor at night if my windows are open!!! They get thru the tiniest little holes in the screens!

Hi folks,

I am facing problem with my stamina...........it's becoming difficult for me to sit for 2.5hrs (Q+V sections) straight, bringing down my accuracy levels drastically! I don't know how i will going to sit (AWA+Q+V)4.5hrs straight???

Please help!

Hey singh_amit,

I have taken a practice MGMAT CAT twice, and Im having the same problems! By the time im finished with Quant, I feel like giving up and stopping, and about halfway through Verbal, I don't have the mental stamina to keep going to my potential, which I know I can solve each problem, but my mind is too tired to read anymore. I think the more you practice, the better that will become. :-D

It's like pushing your limits OR redifining your limits.... ;-)
