I have an old HP Pavilion laptop, but it has got slow now and I am thinking of buying a new one for the school. Both laptop and netbook meet school's recommended configuration. Given this fact, what would current B schoolers advice?

Netbooks will be lighter, but screens will be smaller in size. What kind of computer activities we do in the business school? Would having a larger screen be an advantage?

I think you'll find the info you're looking for in either the laptop thread (the-great-laptop-discussion-forum-61513.html) or the netbook-specific thread (netbooks-for-bschool-79257.html).

I'm going to lock this thread so we keep all computer-related discussions in the existing threads, if your question isn't already answered in one of those threads feel free to post your question in one of the existing threads.
