Hi Ladies & Gentleman !
Today I have booked the third and last try for my GMAT. (Deadline is the 17th of Feb.) and I need at least 580.
The first Gmat I have tried rather unprepared and got a 410. Then after 1.5 months of tough work roughly 4-6hours a day
I had my second go and only got 500 Q36 V23... I was really unhappy with this score because in all my Mgmat prep tests and
also in the official practice Tests I always scored above 27 in Verbal..
Next Tuesday is my third and last attempt because my uni want the unofficial score report with at least 580 points by Tuesday next week.
I have had 2 Mgmat practice test the last three days and scored 570(Q38,V30) / 530(Q37,V26) 1 official GMAT practice test (530 Q.39V.23) and the free Veritas Preptest.(630 Q. 44 V. 33)
I want to do one practice exam each day until Monday so I bought the 6 veritas prep exams for $49 because I have seen most of the Mgmat questions already and I believe it is good for my confidence if I go into the exam knowing I have already got 600+ in my practice tests...
Now here is my question, does anyone have a good idea or a hint how to quickly improve SC and maybe CR so i reach 30 in Verbal ? I know its late but I thought I can manage it myself...

I think the most important thing at this stage of the game isn't necessarily doing as many problems as possible (aka taking an exam every single day) because it may cause you to burn out. I would say you still have time for 1 or 2 more practice exams but its also important to review every single question on the exam.
That means after you take an exam or do a problem set, go back and look at every single question. One easy way to get better is to identify your weaknesses and then work on those types of problems until you mastered them. Obviously, with less than a week to go this can't be done for every area, but if you can identify your three or four biggest areas of weakness after an exam, and then do targeted problem sets on those weaknesses, you will see improvement.
Another thing that I have found helpful while studying is making a list of my errors in each problem and making sure I (almost) never make the same mistake. If you can learn from your mistakes you will be in a much better position to understand how to approach each question and identify what each question is testing.
Obviously, everyone will have different preferences on what to do. Some will say take an exam every day and others will say only take one exam. I think it is important though to realize what your weaknesses are and target them. While it will be hard to struggle through your weaknesses, I truly believe it has helped me in my studies and could help you as well.
Also remember to take the day before your exam off just to relax your brain. No point in taking a 4 hour exam after nights of no sleep and tons of stress.

Also, I would try to focus more on the official GMATPrep tests rather than the Veritas ones.
I took the Veritas online class and took some of their exams, and while they were good, the GMATPrep ones are the most accurate to what you will see on test day. I would splurge the extra couple of bucks to buy the GMATPrep Question Pack and Exam Pack.
I found then well worth the money, especially since you can sort the questions by difficulty.
