Hi everyone.

I just did my last Prep test and scored only 640.
As you can see in my signature, my Quant score improved quite good but my Verbal score significantly decreased between the last at the one before.
My last Prep Test was an official GMAT Prep Test while the previous test were Manhattan GMAT.

Is Manhattan GMAT more difficult in Quant but easier in Verbal?
I have Princeton at home, should i read through the Verbal strategies there?

Thank you in advance. I have my GMAT appointment on wednesday

What score are you targeting? Have you analyzed what went wrong on the GMAT prepr? It might sometimes happen that you had an off day, or you took the exam when you were tired or not prepared etc...These things can effect performance and it is possible that it might be a one off chance. If you were scoring in the mid 600s on MGMAT I'd expect for the score to above 680. Analyze your mistakes till you can pin point what went wrong and if you figure that it is not a one off thing and there are weaknesses that you haven't sorted out you may want to consider rescheduling.

Another thing you could do is to take another GMAT prep test and see how you do. If you do not want to inflate your scores due to repeat of questions you could buy the official 3rd and 4th GMAT prep that won't repeat questions that you faced in GMAT prep 1,2.

Analyze and stay positive; all the best!

Yes, I went through the whole test.

In Quant maybe one or two questions go wrong because of applying a wrong strategy. Most times is that I just miss one word like "MORE than"...
In Verbal, I had a low concentration. Especially at Reading Comprehension. I was in a library where many friends of mine walk by... furthermore I am trying to reduce the intake of carbohydrates for gym-related issues. I guess I'll pause this for the next few days :)
If I do Verbal questions (600-700 difficulty) here in the forum, i get 9 out of 10 right...

I would suggest that you take mock tests in very strict testing conditions. A. This makes you ready for for the real test since you're working at full intensity. B. It takes uncertainty away from analysis. C. You get in the habit of having pressure on you.

Ah..I know the pain involved in trying to cut down on carbs...sugar free redbull might do the trick....regular red bull was a life saver for me ;)

As for the quant questions, listing down the specific conditions like "more than" etc. (You know what some of the others you miss are!) while you are solving might help you not make those mistakes. 3 questions wrong on a test could make a different of as much as 20-30 points!
