so as i mentioned in another thread - tomorrow is the big day for me. 2 questions have been bugging me though, and hopefully someone can answer them
1) for other computer standardized tests, i know that they let you start the test early if you get there early. has anyone experienced this with the gmat? or are they pretty strict with the start time?
2) as far as reporting scores to schools - i think there are x # of schools included in the price, correct? if i do poorly, would it make any difference if i don't send any schools my scores (since i've already paid for it)?

I wouldn't sweat to whom you report. Remember, the top schools will receive several thousand apps. I doubt they will waste their precious time reviewing scores that are not attached to completed apps. This is the approach I take as an admissions officer for a small undergraduate program at a liberal arts school.

You can start pretty much when you are ready. It will take you a while to enter all the school info (you do it ahead of time and go through instructions, so to some degree, you control the pace of the test - to some degree
