how did you arrive at "Money taken by school per candy bar= 5n"

nick1816
CP of each candy= 120/60 dollars= 200 cents

SP of each candy= 1.25* 200= 250 cents

Money taken by school per candy bar= 5n

Total profit= 250-200-5n= 5(10-n)

Last week, Mark sold candy bars at his school. He bought a box of 60 candy bars for 120.00 and sold each candy bar for 25 percent more than he had paid for it. For allowing him to sell the candy, the school took n nickels of Mark's profit per candy bar. mark had no other expenses. Which of the following correctly expresses the profit, in cents that Mark earned per candy bar?

A. \(5(10-n)\)

B. \((250-n)\)

C. \(\frac{250-n}{5}\)

D. \(\frac{50-n}{5}\)

E. \(\frac{n}{5}\)
