emmamichelle7 I'm really not certain what your financial situation is but I think your plan is a bit like flying to Paris to eat peanut butter sandwiches. The ability to increase your income is partly predicated by the quality and reputation of the program and the ones you have cited are not Cambridge caliber. Get more clarity around your goals, and then determine if an MBA is the right next step for you, you don't want to go in debt for a 2 year but you also don't want to go into 50% of that debt it said fail to accomplish the goal stuck with a huge bill. I think the next step for you would be to do some assessments and work with a career coach ( I happened to be a certified career coach), rather than just getting an MBA and hoping that the school will figure it out for you or you will figure it out while you're there. I really discourage people from trying to figure things out in business school because that time is best leveraged executing on your plans. Rather than trying to figure out what your plan is and by the time you do it's too late. Stuck with the bill and nothing to show for it. So based upon what your career goals end up being INSEAD is likely a good choice... but round 3 is in one month and it doesn't seem as though you dont have a GMAT score yet so that would be off the table until next January. If you are a career switcher it would probably be in your best interest to go with January term because you will want to do an internship, unless you're going to Consulting in that case it does not matter when you go there.
I think you should investigate LBS as well you can customize that program to be a year or two years. I know it might not sound as exciting to stay in London but you have work authorization. This will work in your favor in terms of switching careers, if you want to change the location do that when you have more to offer in that new field. Trying to get US work authorization for a job you've never done will be quite a struggle unless you're a scientist or something. Especially in light of all the crap that is going on here. I tell my clients all the time this is not a vacation nor is it a permanent move. Think about it like an extended conference. If you want to relocate after you get your MBA, having a degree from LBS will be far greater ammunition than anything from Florida State. If you return back to London, Florida State's MBA is really not going to do a hell of a lot for you. Having the amazing pedigree that you do it will just look like you were running from the law JK. I don't mean to sound negative or rude I just really feel like you need some real talk on this before you make any decisions.
