Here is what I got from LBS - read the whole thing. Talk about frustrating. I have four years of work experience (two in law, two in business) and I thought that would be enough:
Thank you for submitting your application for a place
on the Full-time MBA Programme at London Business
School commencing in August 2007 (MBA 2009).
Members of the Admissions Committee have now carefully
considered your application. It is with regret that
I have been asked by the Committee to inform you that
they are not able to offer you a place on the MBA
Programme this year.
However, the Committee has asked me to advise you that
they would welcome a re-application from you in the
future when you have a greater number of years relevant
work experience.
Please note that the Committee asks only a very small
number of candidates to reapply in this way. This
invitation indicates their feeling that you show strong
promise of being a great London Business School
candidate in the future.
The MBA Admissions Committee has asked me to advise you
that their current decision is final and confidential.
Therefore, no appeals can be considered and we are
unable to enter into individual feedback.
We are very sorry to have had to disappoint you, but
genuinely hope you will consider re-applying in the
future.
