Hello all,
I have done some research in the forum related to good b-schools for the energy sector however I have not found too much. I have been working in the US since 2013 for an Independent Power Producer (IPP) developing power projects in North America and Latin America, mostly Natural Gas. I cover an engineering role from early stage development to actual project execution through project finance.
I'm originally from Europe and I would like to continue my professional career working for a company based in Europe. I understand the projects will be mostly in Latin America, Middle East and South East Asia (travel is not a problem). I will pursue roles in the business development and project origination areas in the Oil&Gas or/and Power sector, stepping out (a little bit) from the engineering department. Ultimately, I would like to start my own business, probably in consulting but who knows...
An MBA is definitely the next step for me based on the job roles I'm looking for so I would like to get some thoughts of what schools fit the best with what I described above. I am considering LBS, INSEAD and IESE. Please don't tell me... you should apply for Booth or Harvard etc
Personal reasons are also taken into account in my decision of choosing Europe.
Thank you very much for your help
