Dear students,
I want to share another inspirational GMAT success story.
Target Test Prep student Brittany scored 760 (Q48, V48) on the GMAT. Let’s learn more about the road to Brittany’s GMAT success.
Brittany needed a high score on the GMAT to be eligible for the merit-based scholarships that would make her MBA dreams possible. With only 2 months to prepare for the GMAT, she knew she would have to make the most of her GMAT prep; she hadn’t taken a math class in over a decade, and her baseline GMAT score was 570. “I really had to relearn every bit of math that I have ever known,” Brittany says. “I couldn’t remember even the most basic things when I started out.”
After trying to study with
OG books and YouTube videos, she realized she would need to take a more comprehensive and organized approach to her test prep if she was going to make any real gains in her score. “I needed that foundational knowledge first,” Brittany says. “You need a syllabus going into a test like this … Looking up videos every time I needed to learn something was just not an efficient strategy.”
She began researching GMAT courses but found that many of them were far beyond her budget. That’s when she found
Target Test Prep. “I was really impressed with the reviews, but I was also really happy with the price tag,” Brittany says. “I gave it a try and I was instantly hooked.
“I found it to be very succinct … but also very effective. I was able to understand the concepts every time, everything I learned. It was really easy to understand. They also give you great metrics, so it’ll tell you where you’re doing well and where you need to spend more time … It’s like having a teacher as well as a personal GMAT assistant. I didn’t have to waste time figuring out what I should be doing.”
When test day came, Brittany earned a 760 on her GMAT, with a 48 in both the GMAT Verbal and Quantitative sections. And with a great GMAT score in hand, she not only landed an acceptance letter from her business school of choice but also got the merit-based scholarship she needed to afford the program.
“If you are thinking about taking the GMAT and you’re considering
TTP, just do it,” Brittany says. “I do not think that I would’ve gotten the score that I got without
TTP’s help.”
