Hello Everyone, I need some lessons or tutorial on maths topic SETS. I usually get stuck in ques involving sets. Can anyone give me links or source as to where can I get info regarding Venn Diagram and how to go about sets type questions.
Help will be appreciated, Thanks, Cheers, JG

manhattan gmat has a great section on overlapping sets in their word problems book. They eschew the venn diagram, and go with a grid. You have to do a bit more writing, but it's really clear. I studied it briefly (i think it's at the end of the book) the night before the test and lo and behold, I had one medium/difficult overlapping set Q that I aced.
As kidderek said MGMAT recommends a 2D matrix for overlapping sets. Its really good stuff. I'd highly recommend the word translations book if you dont have it already. They suggest venn diagrams only when 3 different entities are involved.
