Hi,
HarshGupta08,
Thank you for your post!
First, I need you to understand that your GMAT scores aren't everything while being a critical element of your profile. The IR score can be vital for some specific schools; however, overall, for others; you could gladly focus on building up other elements (ECAs, Essays, LORs, etc.) of your profile as a robust overall profile, have the best chances of getting admitted to any top B-School. Now since you do have a low IR score and round 5 is quite competitive, I would suggest you target round 1 for next year's admissions. Coming to your profile, I would like to give some basic details about the LBS program! So there is no specific cut-off mentioned by LBS for GMAT, GRE, IELTS, or PTE, so it's an open competition!
Moreover, all three, LBS, HEC, and ESSEC, are ranked globally, so you can gauge the type of fierce competition you will face. However, you have a decent score for MiM and have mentioned some big names you have interned for, which would surely give you an additional advantage over other candidates and help you book a spot in the MiM program. All you need to do is elaborate more on your roles and responsibilities and try to share your experience in different internship roles. Moreover, mention the differences in roles, responsibilities, work pressure, and working environment. In your ECAs, you have mentioned volunteering certificates; try to mold your ECAs to showcase your selfless nature, leadership abilities, communications skills, and sense of social well-being.
All in all, I would say you have a relevant profile, you have a quality experience, work on your ECAs, and try to connect dots between your work experience to mold them into mesmerizing essays. Moreover, since you are targeting top b schools in Europe and the world and belong to an overrepresented pool, you would face fierce competition. Therefore, a heck of a lot of your selection is directly proportional to your essays and interview. Hence if you wish, we would love to help you with your essays and make your profile more robust; if you’d like to connect or need any further help regarding your application, in that case, you could always reach out to us for more in-depth professional help. We can connect you with a person who is himself from a Law background, he graduated with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) with a gold medal. He will be a very good advisor for your profile. Feel free to
