Hi,
My advice (from my own personal experience on my gmat journey) about time management, is that you should not worry too much about time management at all in the beginning. Instead, focus on applying the proper mindset and strategies to your practice. As you progress, your pacing will naturally improve. Then, as you begin to refine your approach, you can begin to consider more direct time management strategies and that is when you start learning efficient answering by accurately solving the questions within the given time frame. But again, don't overthink it at this point.
In the wise words of Kanye West (now called Ye), you need to learn to "crawl before you ball." Put another way, walk before you run
Lastly, when it comes to overall time-management strategies, a major misconception is that you will have an average of 2 minute per question. While that is technically true, don't think that you need to allocate exactly two minutes to every question. Instead, there will be times when you need to realize that you're stumped early enough in the question to make an educated guess and move on, in turn, saving those extra 45-60 seconds for a later question in which that time is more valuable.
Hopefully my two cents on time management on the GMAT help anyone preparing for their test.
Thanks
Osamah
