lol I found this on Al-Jazeera's website today out of sheer boredom. Now I understand why we have CR problems Take a peek at this. The stuff in the quotes is exact and the writers name or blog name is really "wise from wiseland"...
Al-Jazeera writer, "Wise from wiseland" posted this: "The U.S. is worried not only about Iran’s nukes but also about its scientific and technological achievements. The United States is worried not only about Iran’s nuclear program but also about its industrial, scientific, and technological achievements. Now, Iran is a fast-paced developing country with immense advancement in technology; launching satellites and missiles, manufacturing automobile, acquiring scientific know-hows, etc… This is not being digested by United States. Just like China, Iran is emerging as a super power and there is no way to stop this now. All praise should go for Iranian people. It was the 1979 Islamic Revolution by Ayatullah Khomeini that led to today’s powerful Iran."
The argument above relies on which of the following assumptions?
A. The president of Iran wishes to wipe Israel off the map.
B. Nuclear ambitions in Iran are causing an increase in its technolgical knowledge, thus creating jobs.
C. China has made extreme economic gains due to its advancement of the Chinese Space Program, increase of highly developed military technology, and improvement of scientific knowledge.
D. Historians have cited that the advancement of technology as the major cause to the current status of the United States.
E. The great Satans, USA and Israel, are warmongering bigots and will stop at nothing to oppress the Palestiniens. The Iranian president will drive the infidels and their zionist regime away. The US and Israel are very worried about this definite future occurence. Praise be with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
