Hi everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations for a 1:1 GMAT coach/strategist who can help me identify my weak areas and improve my score. I’m not looking for someone to teach me the entire GMAT syllabus or another prep course.
My current section scores and recent mock tracking data:
August 12, 2026: Quantitative Reasoning – 77 (43rd Percentile)
August 15, 2026: Verbal Reasoning – 77 (30th Percentile)
August 24, 2026: Data Insights – 71 (24th Percentile)
August 30, 2026: Data Insights – 70 (20th Percentile)
August 31, 2026: Quantitative Reasoning – 79 (57th Percentile)
*September 7, 2026: Quantitative Reasoning –80 (64th Percentile)
September 9, 2026: Data Insights – 74 (40th Percentile)
September 11, 2026:Verbal Reasoning – 79 (46th Percentile)
Recent Diagnostic Result: Total Score around 525 (Quant 79, Verbal 78, DI 71)
My target is 650+ and my exam is roughly 1.5 months awayI’m currently focusing on improving my score and pacing rather than learning everything from scratch.
What I’m looking for in a tutor/coach:
Analyse my mock/question-level performance and identify the actual sources of lost points (especially handling pacing/triage traps and over-complication in DI)
Identify whether my issues are conceptual, accuracy, timing, reading/comprehension, or execution-related
Help me prioritize what I should work on and what I should stop spending time on
Give me a personalized weekly plan and custom study guide
Review my mocks/errors and adjust the plan based on my progress
Focus on score improvement, strategy, and execution, rather than teaching every topic from scratch
I already have my study resources and rely on self-study drilling, so I mainly need someone who can diagnose my weaknesses and guide my execution.
I’ve come across GMAT Ninja/Charles, CrackVerbal and
e-GMAT, but I’d really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually worked with these or other coaches, especially if you were already at a similar score level.
Who would you recommend, and why? Also, if you had a similar score profile, I’d love to hear what type of coaching helped you improve.
