Hi,
I am Italian male, 27 yrs and I have been studying for the GMAT since February 2014. I am planning to take the exam on November 22nd and, to re-take it on March2015, whether in November I won't get the score I want.
My target score is 690-700, no more, no less than it!
I was very bad at math, but since I started to study, I made many progress. At the beginnig, I have dedicated 15-20 hours per week for 5 months. Now, I usually spend 10-12 hours per week ( 4 hours mon-fri, and 8 hours saturday and sunday). My study resources are:
MGMAT, KAPLAN and GMATPrep, which is an Italian course + book.
I spent huge time studying and attending courses, but, despite that, my progress are not going as fast as I would.
From my last CATs, my level is around 600 (When I took my frist diagnostic CAT in February 2014, my score was 330!)
These, are my recent score:
1) 6.7.2014 - 600 (Q41, V31) - GMATPrep;
2) 30.8.2014 - 560 (Q38, V30) - GMATPrep;
3) 27.9.2014 - 470 (Q29, V24) - KAPLAN;
4) 4.10.2014 - 560 (Q38, V 32) - KAPLAN;
5) 11.10.2014 - 600 (IR 1, Q44, V31) - KAPLAN;
6) 18. 10. 2014 - 530 (IR 2, Q36, V25) - KAPLAN.
My strategy until yesterday was the following:
- Take a CAT every saturday;
- Analyze wrong answers through an excel error track and see where I made most errors (e.g. if after my weekly CAT I got 10 Porblem solving wrong answers concerning number properties, I dedicated the whole next week studying number properties rules).
Now, my problem is that, even though I am studying hard, I am scared I won't get my desired score on the exam day and, even worst, I won't be able to reach this score on my second attempt in March 2015, loosing the chance to apply in september 2015.
For this reason, I am looking for 1-2 hours of tutoring that can give me the right strategy to reach my desired score. I am able to study alone, but I am not able to implement my currently strategy. So, I presume that a GMAT expert mightbe able to help me, after have analyzed my errors...
Thanks!
