You're right. But we are looking at sufficiency. The question is Are fewer than 20% of the books the librarian picks up on history?
Fewer than 20% of 100 means 0-20 which means any number within that range can be the answer.
The second option II stated the time frame (3 weeks) and also gave a figure of exactly 15 books (which is fewer than 20% of 100) making it more than sufficient to answer the question asked
Yea but we cannot for sure say that all the 15 books were picked up as it’s mentioned that more than 100 books were returned on that day and the librarian arbitrarily picks up 100 from them and it might happen that all the 15 books were not included in the 100 so we don’t know the favourable outcome though we have total outcome which is 100 and hence statement 2 according to me is also not sufficient
I don’t have the solution set to these questions yet hence have to find it out myself
