Hi guys!
As the title says, I'm looking for a study buddy to absolutely demolish the test.
40 days.I've been prepping for quite sometime but not with the required amount of seriousness, which makes me realize there's quite a few weak spots. In fact, a lot in my opinion.
As a matter of fact, I have my GMAT tomorrow. Haha!
I grossly over-estimated how smart I was without prepping for the test properly and not polishing on the weak areas, thinking that "I'll somehow make it"; have already moved the test once from Sep 21st to tomorrow Oct 21st.
I know that I'm not gonna get the score I want tomorrow, thus me already considering giving the test again sometime early December, as I've got to apply during round 2 of the application cycle for the universities and program I am interested in; my target score is in the 700's. Minimum of 700. My current mock scores are in the low 600's. Might be a huge jump to make, but lets see.
Having realized that the main problem with my study plan so far was the lack of structure- just picking up topics and doing whatever excites me, this was the dumbest mistake one could make.
But hey, hope that doesn't tarnish my image for you as to how serious I am about the exam, cuz believe me, I am serious.
How I've been prepping-
TTP for the most part and only started using the GMAT Club question bank 2 weeks ago. But I haven't even gotten to the verbal part of
TTP, was using GMAT Ninja videos.
The problem with me that I realize is that if there is a topic that I'm unable to get the immediate hang of, I tend to just skip over it and get onto something that's interesting to me. MISTAKE. This is what I used to do with verbal.
Verbal is my weak spot with the DS questions in quant often playing me.
But yeah, let me know if you wanna study with me. I am committed to making it.
I plan to stick to
TTP for the most part as my centralized resource. It is a resource I can vouch for as it has helped me refresh and build up my concepts, at least the one's I've studied.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys. Cheers!
