Many test takers tend to see their scores plateau with a book-heavy study plan. Have you also considered additional online resources? These are not only packed with additional tips/practice exams/etc, but many simulate test-day conditions, which is extremely valuable for when you sit down at a desktop to take the GMAT.
Many online resources offer free trials to give you the opportunity to try them out without making a huge financial commitment, so I'd strongly suggest you also consider experimenting with a few before diving exclusively into books. Hi Avinash,
If you can have a look at the books beforehand it would be best. I would base my decision on the following questions : Do I need a lot of review or do I prefer diving into the questions? Would I benefit from basic skills practice first or mainly questions that are in GMAT question format? How much detail do I need for explanations? Do I need a lot of strategy tips? In other words, which from which book style can you personally gain the most from? Good luck!
