Hi THov,
If you are still actively seeking a tutor, I would be happy to assist you. Prior to tutoring with GmatIvyPrep, you would get a free consultation to figure out where you need most help + a 30-minute free 1-on-1 online lesson to see if my teaching methods would fit your needs. You will find a little more information about me below:
I am a recent MBA graduate from Yale, and have been tutoring the GMAT for 4+ years now. I scored a 750 myself on the test, and I am solely a GMAT-focused tutor. My two most recent students scored a 730 and a 710 respectively. My goal with any student is to always make sure they're thorough in all basic concepts before before diving into any classroom/homework problems or test strategies. I am familiar with Veritas Prep,
Manhattan Prep and the GMAT Official Guide materials. Depending on your needs, I will craft a full lesson plan, a daily study plan (this is very necessary if you want a good GMAT score), and I will provide regular homework material that has to be completed before each session. I also provide all my students with a ton of great GMAT material completely free of charge:
- Verbal Material (1 entire book for Sentence Correction + Pointers for tackling CR questions)
- Recommended websites for practice
- High-level (700+) practice question sets for quant by topic
- AWA (essay writing template - this helped me get a full score on the Essay)
For more details of the course and if you have any questions, please contact me on gmativyprep(at)gmail.com.
