Hi SudipM7

Besides the Forum Quiz, attempt the GC Tests also. They are also an effective resource towards measuring your preparation levels. Particularly the Verbal CATs are extremely useful.

- Verbal is a concern for me. Specifically in SC, I am never sure what's the right answer.

Idiom list for SC

For SC, memorizing relevant idioms and cutting out the fluff to see whether the core of the sentence structurally holds can be helpful.

Hi all,

Till yesterday, I had been one of those folks who searched for official questions on GMATClub forums and promptly ran away after going through the expert responses and maybe the replies tagged as most helpful. But a lot has changed since yesterday.

I have been nursing this GMAT dream of mine for quite some time now. I'm 29; I have an MBA-equivalent degree from an Indian BSchool (Top15); But last 4.5 years of work experience made me realize that I settled for less and I wanted to go back to school and "broaden my horizon" - for the better part of last 1.5 years, I've been prepping on and off without actually appearing for the exam. So Nov this year, I decided enough is enough, I requested for a break at my workplace for the next couple of weeks and booked a slot to make sure that I stick to the plan.

I couldn't appear for the exam. The reason is silly enough. Plus I have already tortured myself thinking about it for more than 24 hours, and I'm really not here to crib about it either. What I want all of your advice on is how to get back on track - I really want to give this my best possible shot but I want to be more confident about my prep unlike this time, so I want to give myself a bit more time. I'm trying to list down my queries below:

1. Going by my GMAT Official Mocks -
Mock 1 - 9th July - 670 (Q50, V31, IR6)
Mock 2 - 15th Aug - 730 (Q50, V38, IR7)
Mock 3 - 3rd Nov - 710 (Q51, V34, IR7)
Mock 4 - 13th Nov - 700 (Q51, V33, IR6)
Mock 5 - 16th Nov - 710 (Q50, V34, IR8)
- Verbal is a concern for me. Specifically in SC, I am never sure what's the right answer.
I'm planning to go back to Manhattan SC book and then restart my prep with practicing and reviewing Official Questions.
For RC and CR, I'm using Khan Academy LSAT mocks/practice tests - I will possibly go and complete PowerScore CR book too as I left it half way through and was still making some silly mistakes.

I am hoping that I would be able to manage 1-1.5 hour daily for Verbal. So on that note, is there anything else that might be suggested?

2. Considering that I have already used 5 of the 6 official mocks. How do I benchmark my exam readiness?
I'm saving the 6th mock for the very end, but what other tests might be a good measure?
Also what would be the indicators to figure out that I'm prepared enough to aim for a (Q50+,V40+)?

Additional Info: I tried Test Prep options, didn't really work for me.
Forum Quiz feature here is a life saver in my opinion and I want to stick to other free resources only.

I see you tried TTP, but I do think there are some strategic ways you could use our course to help with your final push. Feel free to reach out to us on live chat, and we can discuss your situation further.
