Good Evening All,
New to the forum so brief bio is due:
I scored a 608 on my only GMAT attempt, which was good enough to earn me a large scholarship/stipend for my M.B.A., but will not be good enough to earn me a place in the PhD program next year. As I am living off of a graduate assistant's salary, cost is a large factor. I browsed the site and see many options ranging from a few hundred dollars upwards above $1,000, all of which are not feasible on my budget. Ideally, I would like to arrive at a score >700, and I know this is possible as I always scored in the 99th percentile during my former years (I am currently 34).
I would certainly appreciate any input as to free or low cost resources which could help re-acclimate me to standardized testing, with specific focus upon GMAT style questions.

Hi Thomas,
From what you describe in your post, I assume that you scored 680 (and not '608', which is impossible). Before I can offer any advice, I'd like to know a bit more about that performance and your timeline:
1) When did you take that GMAT?
2) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on that Test (the numbers from 1-51, not the percentiles)?
3) How much time did you spend studying for that attempt?
4) What is the application deadline for the PhD Program that you're interested in?
