Its a disappointment to see my GMAT scores as 520 (Q42 V20) in my first attempt.
I have more than 4.5 yrs work ex in Oil & Gas sector from India's giant organisation, L&T. had a diversified work profile and 2 yrs of international on-site work ex in project execution. In my stint i have touched upon fabrication, planning, international marketing and proposals, contracts management. I had some good leadership achievements throughout numerous challenges
I have done B.E in production engg and have topped my college during my third yr engg: in merit list all throughout the engg. There was no GPA as such for our univ.
I look upon for an admission in fall 2014 and re-attempting GMAT will take time and i may miss deadlines till then. I want to pursue my MBA in International business with Marketing strategy as major.
I have shortlisted 5 Univs,
1. Merage, Irvine
2. Mccombs, Austin
3. Simon, Rochester
4. Broad, Michigan
5. Manchester, UK
I am in a need of scholarships and waivers from these univ despite the fact that i have low scores in verbals. I want to know if i get a score in TOEFL, can that compensate my verbal scores for GMAT?? Also, will you recommend me to apply with such scores and ask univ to give me some time to re-attempt GMAT?
Awaiting your valuable opinion.
