Hi Everyone,
I have been reading some of the posts regarding gmat scores and admissions but nothing seemed to relate directly to my situation. So here I am. I just completed the GMAT yesterday and didn't do as well as I had hoped. I got a 560 (32Q, 34V) from the initial results. This is lower than the 630ish I had been scoring on my practice tests due to some time constraints that I caused on the Q section.
Here's my basic question: I am planning on doing ASU part-time MBA program. Their class average of GMAT is 583, so I am just under that. However, I finished my undergrad degrees in Criminal Justice and History with a 3.6 GPA at ASU. I also have two years, and counting, of experience with one of the largest financial companies and two years of full-time experience in hospitality before that. My career has given me plenty of areas to get involved in activities outside of my normal job scope so I believe I am fine on that avenue. I am also going to be using an ASU Professor and a current Manager as my references. With all of this taken into account, should I continue with the application process or would be wise to retake?
Thank you for any insight!
