Hi,
My very first post on GMAT Club
I'm wondering if I had low gpa (3.17/4.30 for a political science degree and 3.07/4.30 for a law degree) but both upper second class honours from a university ranked 2x-3x worldwide, is LBS MiM way out of my league? Or that I can still give it a shot if I had a competitive profile (GMAT 730+, ECA, work experience, etc.)?

Not at all! I am also applying for LBS MiM and like you, my grade is at a low 2:1. As long as you compensate with other aspects of the application it will be fine! LBS take a very holistic approach when evaluating your application.

Not at all. It is in your league. As long as you have a 2:1+, you meet their academic requirement and are eligible to apply. If you can get a 710+ gmat, with work experience and extra curicullars, you will have a pretty strong profile. It all depends on how you present your application and how you write your story (the story part is important).
Be sure to do some research around how to present your application, write a story, and prep for everything. Let me know if you have any other doubts
