Hello,
I'm applying to Masters of Accounting Programs and have around a 2.9 GPA. However, I'm highly involved at my school (University of Pittsburgh) as I have been on multiple e-boards and have a large amount of work experience. I'm applying to Pitt's MACC, Duquesns's Master in Accounting Program, North Carolina State's and 2 other schools I have not decided on yet. My question is whether my GPA is too low to get into the 3 schools I mentioned earlier? I take the GMATs in mid August and am nervous that despite what I score, I won't get it. Also if any of you guys know of any "safe Masters in Accounting schools" I could apply to please comment them. Ideally, I would like those schools to be in either the Pittsburgh area or North Carolina, but any suggestions would be great as I am happy nearly anywhere. Thank you.
