First off let me say I am gutted. I just took the GMAT and scored way below what I had hoped:
Q34 (28th percentile)
V40 (91st percentile)
IR5 (54th percentile)
Overall score of 600
I was regularly scoring in the 650 range on my practice tests. The quant has always been a struggle for me, but I was certainly hoping for above the 50th percentile. I'm not sure what happened. I was looking to apply to McGill, UBC, Calgary, McMaster and either Dal or SMU, but now with my low quant score, I'm not sure it is worth it. Calgary and UBC R3 deadlines are March 1st, McGill March 15th, McMaster March 30th, so I'm not sure if I have enough time to retake the GMAT in time for R3 applications. Do I retake and wait for R4? Or apply now with the 600 and low quant score? I have a 3.3 GPA in my last 2 years of study (3.1 overall), 4 years work experience (1 in a manager position), and am a nationally ranked athlete.
Any advice is appreciated!
