Hey guys,
I have been studying for this GMAT exam for about 5 months now. I took my very first exam in March and scored ridiculously LOW (280 points). So I took a step back and figured out I had to study the fundamentals of the given topics. Therefore I bought the recommended great set books of Manhattan (6 books), plus the official guide for GMAT Review 2015, Verbal and Quantitive.
The thing is.. i took a practice exam today and scored AGAIN ridiculously low. I have no idea what to do, because the last due date to register for the graduate schools in the netherlands is already next week. I really have to get into the Graduate school and pass the gmat exam with at least +600 score.
So do y'all have some great advice for this desperate student?

Hi Irma,
If the application deadline is in one week, then there's really no practical way to increase your GMAT score 300+ points in that time. While this probably won't make you *happy*, you can continue to study and apply during the next application cycle. Considering the amount of time that you put in and the lower results that you scored on your Official GMAT, some changes to your approach are going to be required. You'll also probably need to invest in a GMAT Course of some type.
When you took the GMAT, did you have trouble finishing any of the sections on time?
Did you have to guess on a bunch of questions just to finish any of the sections (or did you leave any questions unanswered)?

What are your weak areas and how far off are you from your target score? In 1 week it will be difficult to increase your score by 200-300. You might have to look to apply for next year and focus to get the GMAT mark up this year
