Hello everyone
I just took the GMAT Test , and unfortunately i couldn't get a decent score
I had only 2/3 weeks to prepare and that's because i never presumed that i would need the GMAT
I already took the Tage Mage test , and i was really sure that i will get at least 320/600 but i only got 283
I didn't give up and i decided to take the GMAT Test ,even my english is my third language but my 925 on the toeic test was encouraging me
Anyway, i will have an engineering degree this year , and i wanna apply to a MIM in Essec , Edhec , EM Lyon & ESCP
Actually on the mock test i got 600 630 580 at the worst
But , today i got 530 which was really disappointing
Would you please advise me
1- should i apply with 283 of the tage mage & 935 Toeic or with a 530 GMAT
I heard that to get invited for the SAI oral test i need at least 600 on the GMAT Or 300 tage mage
2- i wait till next year , and i try to improve my score on GMAT Or tage mage
I'm confused and i really appreciate your help

Hey AHMED01,
First of all, don't feel demotivated by your low GMAT score. There is always room for improvement, focus on your weak areas and especially on the verbal part. I would strongly suggest you to retake GMAT and try to get a better score.
A score of 680+ would be ideal for schools such as ESCP & ESSEC, but with a strong application you can secure a call with scores as low as 650-660.
For Emlyon and the rest a score above 620 should suffice.
To keep your options open, I would also suggest you to retake Tage Mage. If you are able to get a better score, you can apply with the Tage Mage and TOEIC score.

You should try and reapply next year with a higher GMAT score than apply this year. 530 would be too low a score to target ESSEC, EDHEC, EM Lyon, and ESCP.
You mention that you got 630 and 600 on your mock tests, so your underperformance on the real test may be a result of nervousness on the real test, or of not having practiced from representative tests. First, go back to your concepts and try and strengthen areas that might be weaknesses. If English is your third language, you would have struggled on the Sentence Correction section. Sources like Manhattan GMAT are good avenues to help you improve on that front. You can also look at the books suggested on the following links:

After you feel you have addressed these weaknesses, take practice tests, and make sure you are taking the GMATPrep tests, as they reflect your real ability on the GMAT most closely. Do not reattempt unless you hit around 650 consistently on your mock exams.
