Well, that article really freaked me out as my GPA did not fall into at least half of the school's range of GPAs... Maybe Canadian schools are different? I'm kind of wishing that I didn't slack as much as I did in college now. I know I'm capable of better...

LOL, you're focusing on the wrong thing. The main take away from that article is that your GMAT score has far more weight than anything else in your application, including your GPA. Do well on the GMAT and you'll be fine. Also keep in mind that the schools listed are the top US schools, Canadian schools have lower requirements.
