I was in the library today and someone was studying with LSAT and GMAT prep books for the GMAT. When I asked why, she said that there are some sections of the LSAT that better prepare you for the GMAT, since they are more rigorous.
Is there any truth to this? What are your opinions for using LSAT materials to study for the GMAT? Thanks.

Hello NYCAnalyst,
While some people have had success with LSAT materials (strictly for the verbal section), this was to get that "edge" with more advanced content.
For people who need more introductory information, the LSAT guides will not prove very useful.
Search the forum and you're bound to find me debriefs or recommendations for LSAT books. The powerscore LSAT book routinely comes up.
