Hey,
I have been admitted to LSE and INSEAD for September 2022 intake. Which one would you suggest going for and why?

My post-MIM career path is in Technology sector, specifically start-ups.

Hi harshlamo , hope you are well.

How far are you looking into the horizon?
IMO both schools are pretty good if you are targeting to work in a tech startup post-MiM. However, INSEAD may have a slight advantage over LSE in terms of career treks, active engagement with recruiters, MBA and EMBA INSEAD alum network from across the world (who could also be potential recruiters). INSEAD has a lot of focus on entrepreneurship so high chances you may eventually end up working with /for an INSEAD alum.

LSE Masters courses on the other hand are considered more academically focused (than INSEAD). If you eventually want to pursue an ivy league MBA, 5-7 years from now, LSE may look better on your resume for a master's program.

Best wishes

Insead MiM is so new I would clearly go to LBS. For an MBA, it would be a different story :)

Hello harshlamo,

Congratulations on the admits!

INSEAD'S MiM is a fairly new program so you'll never really know much. The program at LSE is more established and being in London will come with an entire set of advantages.

All the best!

Hey,
I would say INSEAD is definitely a better choice as they have a strong focus on startups and a better brand name. LSE is more about academical / theoretical work.

My best advice would be to reach out to several students on both programs.
