Hi guys,
I am 22. I am from Turkey and I will complete my undergrad degree by Jun 25. I scored 685 from GMAT Focus and have a GPA of 3.5. I received full-time beginner offers from BCG and Bain Turkey offices. I declined BCG, as they have VERY long hours compared to Bain, at least that's the case in Turkey. I don't think I am interested in IB so I believe I will be a consultant. However as I was not sure whether or not I would receive offers from MBB firms, I also applied for masters. I got an offer from LSE MSc in Finance, I am sure I will be getting more offers from Imperial, Kings and UCL (all in finance).
LSE MSc in Finance was my dream for a long time, and I never expected to get accepted. I am unsure whether or not I should move on forward with Bain or pursue my masters in LSE. To be honest, getting an MBA degree after 3 years of professional experience at Bain is another option. Most of the colleagues at Bain have pursued MBA degrees at Harvard, Stanford, Wharton LBS etc. Is an MSc in Finance degree in LSE worth turning down Bain? Or am I exaggerating LSE here?
I am hoping you share your VERY honest opinions with me. Please note that I would love to work abroad one day, and since I am not a UK or EU citizen and don't have a worker visa, it will be very challenging for me to find a job in London. Would 3 yrs of working experience in an MBB and a MBA make it easier than it would be now?
Thanks for your response.
Best.
