Hi folks,
I've been enlisted in the waitlist for the msc in Finance at LSE. My question is, how should i interpret this? I came up with two possible explanations:
1. I am not an excellent candidate but not even the worst one. They didn't reject my application just because they want to see if those applying in the next weeks are way better than me.
2. I comply with their requirements but they have already filled all the seats/made too many offers and they need to wait if someone is going to drop.
In the email , that sounded pretty automatic, it's written that they will make a final decision within 8 weeks.
How would you interpret the fact that i've been included in the waitlist?
Thanks!
