I don’t quite agree with the solution. 1/10*100/2+5/100*1000/1=5+50=55

Pls explain me where I am wrong. And why in the answer they are multiplied by 10 and 1000. Thanks

It also may be worth adding 5.2 as an answer choice instead of one of the answers perhaps as that's what I came up in mental math (incorrectly).
The answer is 50.2 (I double-checked with a calculator :lol:)

P.S. You are trying to bring the denominator to 1 so to do that in the first case you have to multiply it by 10 and in the second case by 1,000. I am not sure what you are doing unfortunately - I think perhaps your fraction got flipped and you are dividing 100 by 2. It seems you may want to divide 2 by 10 instead?
