I think this is a poor-quality question. I do not agree with the solution and the wording of the question. The wording of the question is not clear. "Consist ONLY of digit 1 or 0 implies the 4 digits integer has either ONLY 1 or 0. In that case 1111 should be only such 4 digits integer that met the other criteria

­The phrase "consist only of the digits 1 or 0" means that each digit in the number can only be either 1 or 0. It doesn't mean the entire number has to be all 1s or all 0s. The correct interpretation allows for combinations of 1s and 0s, as long as they follow the rule about the sum of the first two digits equaling the sum of the last two. So, the valid numbers are 1001, 1010, and 1111, making the answer correct as "3."
