What is the area of the triangle formed by lines $$y = 5 - x$$ , $$2y = 3x$$ , and $$y = 0$$ ?
* 7.5
* 8.0
* 9.0
* 10.5
* 15.0

The vertices of the triangle are $$(0, 0)$$ , $$(5, 0)$$ , and $$(2, 3)$$ . The area $$=\text{base}*\frac{\text{height}}{2} = 5*\frac{3}{2} = 7.5$$ .
The correct answer is A.

hello, can someone explain why vertices are ( 2,3) ?
and what would be corresponding graph for$$2y = 3x$$?
