Official Solution:

Which of the following lines is parallel to line $$x = 6 - 3y$$?

A. $$3x=1-3y$$
B. $$y=\frac{x}{3}+2$$
C. $$y=3x+2$$
D. $$y=-\frac{x}{3}+4$$
E. $$y=-3x+4$$

Parallel lines have the same slope. Rewrite $$x = 6 - 3y$$ as $$y=-\frac{1}{3}x+2$$. So, we have that the slope of the line is $$-\frac{1}{3}$$ (coefficient of $$x$$). Only the line from option D has the same slope.
