If she visits on Saturday, she won’t visit on Sunday. Not sufficient.
(1)+(2) If Alicia visits on Saturday (50% chance), then she will not visit on Sunday. If she does not visit on Saturday (also 50%), her Sunday visit probability is unknown. So, the overall probability of a Sunday visit is:
\(P(\text{visit on Sunday}) = 0.5 * 0 + 0.5 * p = 0.5p\)
