1. What is the maximum number of pencils that could be produced by machine A? Machine A should operate the maximum time, 8 hours: 9000*8 = 72'000 pencils

2. What do we have for machine B? 100'000 - 72'000 = 28'000 pencils. It is the minimum number of pencils that could be produced by machine B and it will take 28'000 / 7'000 = 4 hours.

machine A: 72,000pencils/8rs
B: 56,000pencils/8hrs

we only need 100,000 pencils so if A mazkes 72,000 then B only needs to make 28,000, which it can do in 4 hrs
