Made a blunder in essay, can't gather courage to face the interview

Hi guys,

I feel so stupid even writing about it. So I applied to my dream school and have an interview scheduled in two days.
I was just revisiting my essays, and I found that I misspelled the name of the school twice, TWICE! After having it correct once, I mentioned it wrong TWICE in the same ending paragraph.

I can not gather the courage to face the interview; I don't even feel like preparing for it. I must have checked the essays a hundred times before submitting, and I dropped an "e" from "Ivey" in the last two lines. What do I do? Should I mention it in the interview? Or should I act like I just don't know about it? I feel like I do not even deserve to get there. Anyone in their shoes will question me that if you are so awesome as you say, why cannot you even get the name of our school right?

Mistakes do happen. How one responds to it is what defines an individual. If I were you, I would attend the interview normally and don't worry about the mistake too much. If you get any hint from the interviewer about the spelling mistake, you can accept the mistake and explain how you learned from it and how you took necessary steps to avoid making the same mistake again. You can talk about installing a spell checker, proofreading your essays multiple times, etc
